About The Luffa Farm
About The Luffa Farm
The owner of The Luffa Farm started growing luffas as a hobby over 30 years ago. In 1999, she decided to start a business growing and selling luffas and handcrafted bath and herbal products to retail outlets.
Nestled in the small-town Nipomo, California Mesa, The Luffa Farm quickly became a local curiosity for adventurous knowledge-seekers. It was such a great experience teaching the members of our community about these quirky gourds, Deanne decided to open up to the public and offer free tours to anyone who stops by- no reservations needed!
Now The Luffa Farm continues to educate visitors from all over the world!
Bring your friends and family by to learn about luffas, explore the unique gardens, or shop at The Luffa Farm.

Why Us?
Have you ever used a Luffa Farm Luffa?
When you hear the word "luffa", do soft, fluffy gourds come to mind?
...Or do you remember that hard-as-a-brick sponge you got as a gift years ago?
Any luffa (Loofah) sponge you find in stores had to go through treatment processes that destroy the natural texture of the sponge (for importation).
We grow Heirloom Luffas without any of those harsh treatments.
The result is a soft, washable, non-abrasive plant-based sponge.
Come feel the difference!
